San Antonio Golf Courses

San Antonio golf courses are all over the city and many people play throughout the year. San Antonio is a paradise for golfers because of the great weather we almost always have here. Most of the golf courses in the city are open to the public. On average, green fees that include golf cart rentals cost anywhere from around $20 up to $100. You will usually spend $45 each time you play golf.

Golf is a great way to get some fresh air and exercise. Just wear a cap and plenty of sunscreens and you should be fine.

Some of the resorts you can stay at here in San Antonio have their own golf courses, but most hotels do not. Don’t despair, though. Because they are so abundant, there is bound to be a course near where you are staying.

First, I will list the municipal golf courses for your putting needs.

Brackenridge Park Golf Course

The Alamo City Golf Trail begins and ends at Brackenridge Park Golf Course. This course, located just north of downtown San Antonio, is easily accessible to both locals and visitors. Cedar Creek Golf Course

Cedar Creek first opened its doors in 1989, and Ken Dye designed his 7,150-yard, par 72 layout from the rugged Hill Country terrain. The course has wild elevation changes and incredibly craggy terrain—you’ll know you’re in for something special when you look out the clubhouse before the round and see the surrounding countryside. The fairways are lined with old oak trees and cedar elms, five of which dogleg; expect blind shots and uneven lies.
